Disappointment.

My husband had an ultrasound today. We were kind of hoping he would have a varicocele- "an abnormal tortuosity and dilation of veins of the pampiniform plexus within the spermatic cord. It is somewhat like a varicose vein of the scrotum. A varicocele could possibly affect sperm by increasing testicular temperature ."
We were hoping he had this problem, because it can be fixed. But he doesn't. Turns out everything is physically fine, his sperm just don't want to move.
I have a giant lump in my throat that so badly wants to turn into tears, but I'm at work. Apparently I really had my hopes up.
Damn hope.
