First IUI

We are hoping to do our first IUI this weekend. I've taken the Clomid, and am faithfully peeing on a stick every day. I usually get a positive O test on CD15, which would be tomorrow. Which would mean we would do the IUI on Saturday. I am a little stressed about the possibility that J can't get off of work. It is a 3 hour drive, so he needs to be gone the whole day. He talked to one of his coworkers who said it was fine with him. That coworker is on until Sunday, so lets hope it happens before that!
All along I've kind of been thinking of this as a step. I keep thinking that we will do the IUI a couple times, and then start preparing for IVF. I'm pretty sure that's what my RE is thinking too. But last night, just for one little minute, I let myself have that forbidden thought...
